Coach Andy
Head Coach
Coach Andrew “Andy” Fiore grew up in Stafford and started swimming at Curtis Park at just seven years old. He joined the year-round team STAT at eleven and went on to rank on Virginia’s Top 10 list while setting multiple team records.
A four-year varsity swimmer and senior captain at Mountain View High School, Andy now competes for the University of Lynchburg, where he has earned All-Conference First Team honors, won silver in the 200 Butterfly, and set several school records. His specialty events include the 200 Fly, 200 IM, and 400 IM.
Andy has been coaching at Curtis Park since age twelve and loves helping swimmers grow in confidence and achieve their goals.
Outside the pool, he studies criminology with plans to become a detective and enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, and (famously) eating huge portions of his mom’s homemade birthday pasta.
Coach Savannah
Assistant Head Coach
Coach Savannah Corey is excited to return to CPST this season in her new role as Assistant Coach. She has been part of the CPST swimming community since she was 8 or 9 years old, and the sport has played a significant role in her life ever since. Many of you will already recognize her from on deck because she has been one of our amazing Senior Coaches in prior seasons! She also swam throughout high school, spent two years competing with RAYS, and now continues her swimming career at Randolph-Macon College. We believe she will bring a wealth of both swim and coaching experience in her role as Assistant Coach.
Savannah’s favorite part of coaching is cheering on her swimmers and watching their growth and confidence build over the course of the summer. She brings the same energy to the pool that she valued as a teammate - positivity, encouragement, and fun. Outside of swimming, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, and exploring her passion for nursing. She also loves anything creative and crafty. Savannah looks forward to reconnecting with returning swimmers and welcoming new faces to the team this season.

Senior Coaches 2026

Mia Serrano
Mia is super excited for this year at Curtis Park! She has been swimming with Curtis Park for about three years and has loved the sense of community it brings each summer. Outside of swim, Mia enjoys theater and spending time with friends. A fun fact about her is that sushi is her favorite food, and she has not missed a $5 sushi day at Publix so far this year. She is looking forward to a fun-filled summer with all of the swimmers!

Savannah Lerch
Savannah Lerch is excited to return for her 3rd year coaching with Curtis Park. She has been swimming with Curtis Park since age 6 and began year-round swimming with the RAYS at age 9. She loves the friendships and fun that each swim season brings. Outside of swimming, Savannah enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and watching movies. A fun fact about her is that applesauce is her favorite meet-day snack, and she always keeps some in her swim bag. She is excited for a fun and successful season with the team!

Peyton Pennel
Peyton is a senior coach and a rising junior at Mountain View High School. She swims for Curtis Park, Mountain View, and the Stingrays, and has loved the sport since she was young. Her favorite strokes are backstroke and breaststroke. She enjoys the competition, team environment, and friendships swimming brings. Outside of the pool, she likes spending time with friends and reading, and is excited for another great season.
Junior Coaches 2026

Madsen Call
Madsen began swimming with Curtis Park at age 9, making it the first swim team he ever joined. He has also swum all four years of high school for Mountain View. He continues to return to Curtis Park because of his love for the team and the pool. Madsen especially enjoys coaching because he understands what it is like to struggle in swim, and he wants kids to know that it is never embarrassing not to know something.
Coaches in Training (CIT's) 2026

Kiki Stewart
Kiki is excited to return as a Coach in Training for the Seahawks and this will be her 5th year with Curtis Park. Outside of swimming, she enjoys reading and writing books, playing tabletop role-playing games and video games, and relaxing with favorite comfort foods like hot cocoa, popcorn, and ice cream.

Mason Matczak
Mason is a rising eighth grader at Gayle Middle School and is excited for his 6th year with Curtis Park as a Coach in Training. His favorite stroke is backstroke, and he loves swim team for the friendships, fun, and positive memories made each season.
